Staq (“the Platform,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a gamified financial literacy platform operated by SlayerBlade, an individual enterprise based in India. Staq provides interactive educational content on personal finance topics through modules, simulations, quizzes, and challenges.

Staq is strictly an educational tool and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, legal, or any other professional advice. Staq is not registered with SEBI, AMFI, IRDAI, or any other financial regulator. Nothing on this platform should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.

• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the free features of Staq.
• You must be at least 18 years of age (or have the express consent of a parent or legal guardian) to purchase any paid product including Staq Pro or Verified Certificates.
• By using Staq, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement and that any information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.
• Staq is primarily intended for users in India and is governed by Indian law.

• You sign in using a Google account via OAuth. By doing so, you authorise us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google solely for the purpose of creating and maintaining your Staq account.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must keep your Google account credentials secure and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to gain advantages (extra Flux, leaderboard manipulation, bypassing suspensions) is prohibited and will result in permanent termination of all associated accounts.
• We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our sole discretion.

• Flux is a virtual currency with no real-world monetary value. It is earned exclusively through learning activities on the platform.
• Flux cannot be purchased with real money, exchanged for real money, transferred to another user, or redeemed outside the Staq platform.
• Flux spent in the Flux Shop is non-refundable under all circumstances.
• We reserve the right to modify the earning rates, spending values, catalogue items, or to discontinue Flux entirely at any time without notice or liability.
• Upon account termination (whether by you or us), your Flux balance is forfeited with no obligation to compensate you in any form.

Staq currently offers two paid products:

5.1 Staq Pro Subscription (₹149/month)

• Staq Pro is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge ₹149 to your payment method each month via Razorpay until you cancel.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to Pro features continues until that date. No prorated refunds are issued for unused days.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
• Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

5.2 Verified Certificates (₹149 per certificate)

• A Verified Certificate is a digital credential issued upon passing the relevant assessment (minimum 70% score) and completing the associated payment.
• Certificates are issued for educational achievement purposes only. They are not equivalent to, and do not confer the standing of, any SEBI, AMFI, NISM, or government-recognised qualification or certification.
• Certificates are permanently associated with your account and are non-transferable.
• Public certificate verification pages at staq.app/verify/[id] display your name, certificate type, score, and issuance date. By purchasing a certificate, you consent to this public display.
• Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

5.3 Payment Processing

• All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service and privacy policy.
• We do not store your full card details. Payment credentials are handled entirely by Razorpay.
• We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated at least 7 days in advance and will not affect the current billing cycle.

All content on Staq — including modules, scenarios, simulations, quizzes, challenges, and any text, graphics, or data — is provided solely for general educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other advice.

Scenarios, returns, and outcomes depicted in Staq City and other simulations are fictional and illustrative only. Past performance of any financial instrument referenced in educational content is not indicative of future results. Always consult a qualified SEBI-registered financial advisor before making any investment or financial decision.

Staq participates in affiliate referral programs. Specifically, Staq includes a referral link to Zerodha (Partner Code: CAR026). If you open a Zerodha account through this link, Staq may receive a referral commission from Zerodha. This commission is paid by Zerodha and does not affect the cost you pay.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our educational content. We do not recommend any specific broker, product, or financial instrument; all broker references are contextual examples only.

You agree not to:

• Manipulate leaderboard rankings, quiz scores, or streak counts through any automated means, exploits, or third-party tools
• Create or use multiple accounts to gain Flux, achievements, or referral rewards unfairly
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary content of the platform
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to interact with the platform
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or to our backend systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or servers
• Reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit any Staq content without prior written permission
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable Indian law or any other jurisdiction that applies to you
• Impersonate Staq, SlayerBlade, or any other person in communications

Violation of any of these terms may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, without refund of any paid amounts.

All content, design, code, trademarks, logos, educational materials, characters, scenarios, and branding of Staq (including but not limited to “Staq,” “Flux,” and “Staq City”) are the exclusive intellectual property of SlayerBlade.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes only. This licence does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the platform.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by us freely without any obligation to compensate you.

Staq integrates with the following third-party services. Your use of Staq implies acknowledgement that these services process your data as described in their respective privacy policies:

• Google OAuth — identity and authentication (Google LLC)
• Supabase — database and backend infrastructure (hosted on AWS)
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery
• Razorpay — payment processing (for paid features)

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party service. Links to external sites (including affiliate links) are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement.

Staq is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the platform. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire platform at any time without prior notice.

We are not liable for any loss resulting from service downtime, data loss, or unavailability of any feature.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Staq and all its content, features, and services are provided without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We make no warranty that (a) the platform will meet your requirements; (b) the platform will be available at any particular time or location; (c) any errors or defects will be corrected; or (d) the platform is free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, in no event shall SlayerBlade be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising under or in connection with these terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of ₹500 or the total amount you paid to Staq in the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory on which any claim is based, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SlayerBlade and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the platform; (b) your violation of these terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
• Upon termination, your right to access the platform immediately ceases. Your Flux balance, progress data, and any unredeemed rewards are forfeited.
• If you wish to delete your account, email us at support@slayerblade.site. We will delete your account and associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., payment records).
• Termination does not entitle you to a refund for any paid subscriptions or certificates unless you are within an eligible refund window under our Refund Policy.

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Staq, we encourage you to contact us first at support@slayerblade.site so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. We will endeavour to respond within 30 days.

If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the platform and may request account deletion.

• Severability: If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Entire Agreement: These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SlayerBlade with respect to Staq.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer any rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights freely.
